Arrival at Bangkok, welcome by your local french-speacking guide and transfer to your hotel. Free time to relax during the rest of the morning.
Lunch around 12.00 a.m - 13.00 p.m at your hotel and, around 2.30 p.m, departure for a boat ride, « long tail », on the Thonburi and Bangkok Klongs to discover the typical way of life of the old « Venice of the East". During the excursion, visit of the temple « Wat Arun». At the beginning of the evening (around 6.30 p.m), departure for the diner at Supatra River House. Return and overnight at your hotel.
After breakfast, departure for Ayutthaya and visit of one of the most impressive places of Thailand, including the temple "Wat Yaï Chai Mongkol", the "Wat Phra Mongkol Bophitr", the "Wat Sri Samphet".
Lunch constituted by local specialities and then, visit of the Monkeys Temple "Prang Sam Yot". At the end of the afternoon, arrival at the farmer's house. Free time in the farm. Dinner and overnight there (collective night).
Local breakfast at the farmer's house and then departure for the first visit of the day : the visit of the farm, of its rice crops , vegetables and fruits depending on the season and harvest .Then, departure by motorized sailor for the lunch at the village Baan Wang Kot, built entirely of wood with period ( roughly 150 years ) and for the visit of a typical rural school of Thailand "Open the week and outside holiday period in Thailand". In the middle of the afternoon, return by vehicle towards the farm where you will participate to the dinner preparation and to the Kao Lam cooking, sweety sticky rice cooked in bamboo. Diner and overnight in collective at the farmer's house.
Thai style breakfast at the farmer's house and then, departure from this small paradise towards Sukhothai and visit by bicycle of the site "Sri Satchanalaï", World Heritage of UNESCO. Sukhothai, " The Dawn of Happiness", became the first truly independent Thai kingdom in 1238. Historic elements prove that Thai culture, especially the Thai alphabet and language, were born in Sukhothai .
Lunch on site and then, continuation of the way towards Lampang and carriage ride for the discovery of the town qnd its beautiful old houses next to the river. Visit of one of them: Baan Sao Nak. From there, continuation to Chiang Mai. Arrival at Chiang Mai. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.
Breakfast and road to Mae Kampong. En route stop in a local market to choose the ingredients which will serve to lunch preparation. The village is nestled at 1300m altitude and offers a revitalizing climate all year. About one-hour ride in the communal forest with a local guide and then, preparation of the lunch with your host family.
On your return, relaxation moment thanks to a traditional massage ( about 1 hour and a half) taught by the best practitioners of the village. Dinner and overnight at the village.
OPTION : After lunch, you will go through the canopy of the tropical forest thanks to about 3 hours of zipline course.
Breakfast and departure from your hotel towards an elephant camp where you will enjoy to admire them, to touch them, to study them and to give them bananas. From there, you will head in time in discovering the countryside, by enjoying a elephant ride in the jungle and mountains for more or less one hour.
After lunch, departure for the visit of Bua Tong waterfalls. Located at 42 Kilometers from Chiang Mai, the Bua Thong cascade is part of the national forest reserves of Mae Taeng. This magnificient limestone waterfall is famous for its typical form and not easy to climb. Like Namphu Chetsi, meaning litteraly 7 colours fountain, which is a mineral geyser containing calcium carbonate, springing from the ground in the form of streams and small waterfalls. Then, transfer to the Chiang Mai train station from where you will embark towards Bangkok. Dinner served as a picnic in the train and overnight onboard (2nd class).
Breakfast served as a picnic in the train and then arrival at Bangkok train station, then transfer to your hotel (liberation of your rooms at 2.00 p.m).
Lunch at your hotel and, at the beginning of the afternoon, departure by Tuk Tuk towards the Royal Palace and visit of the Wat Phra Keo (Emerald Buddha Temple) and of the Wat Pho (Reclining Buddha Temple).
At the end of the afternoon, return to your hotel and short moment of relaxing before going on the begining of the evening to drink a cocktail at the 63rd floor of a Tour of Bangkok… There, the view is stunning, outstanding and the atmosphere is upscale. You will have the choice between a free dinner or a dinner cruise on the MANOHRA. Overnight at your hotel.
Breakfast and free day before your transfer to the airport for your return flight or extension seaside.
